JoyBus will really bring joy to your travel since the seats are very spacious and it also has a leg rest! its just a relaxing trip! Cubao-Baguio fare costs 690 Php. they served cookies and water in the bus, there is also an indoor restroom(just for peeing).
my bus window view during the bus trip.
We arrived around 4:00 pm in Baguio city. the staff of azalea Residences picked us up at the bus stop to the hotel. They are very nice and accommodating. its pretty warm that day but not like Manila hot.
since sitting for a few hours in a bus really drains me out for some reason. Good thing Azalea residences Baguio staffs are very helpful in taking care of our personal belongings. We headed directly to the front desk and they gave us welcome drinks and room assignments. if i can remember correctly we are at room 312 its just in front of the elevator. they toured us in our rooms and they also have a fruit basket waiting for us. you can check out the hotel and room amenities HERE.
We waited for the Pasay Bus to arrive til like 6 pm and we hopped in the van and had dinner at kalapaw restaurant! We are served pakbet, kaldereta, roasted chicken, mixed seafood, rice, fruit salad for dessert and ice tea. and here is my plate.
Since it was still a tad early and we are all scheduled to go to Baguio Night Market. We went ahead and grabbed some coffee at Cafe by the Ruins you can check my experience HERE.
So after an hour at the coffee shop we went ahead to the Baguio Night Market!!! its located at Harrison Road. Half of the road itself is closed to give way to this buzzing night market! its amazing you can get clothes for 10 pesos,., branded jackets at a very very affordable price. I even got an H&M gray dress with embellishments for 30 Php!!! its crazy that i ended up buying for my mom, husband and cousins! well its worth it and its super cheap anyway. you can also buy all kinds of stuff. souvenirs and food too.
Well after an hour walking and shopping here we all headed back to the hotel and took our goodnight sleep. Action Packed Baguio Summer Adventure DAY 2 waiting for us! yay!
Thats it for this post and see you on the next one!
